Bishop Benjamin Walton Sr. Was the last out of 11 siblings. He was born in Terrell, Texas, and grew up in the state of California. He attended Ceres High School in Ceras, CA.
He was a minister and a member of The Showers of Blessings COCIC.~ Dr. Darrell Thomas, Pastor.
Bishop worked many years as a corrections officer at San Quentin State Prison, Sea Tac Airport in Tacoma WA., as ID Access Controller Security, and the Arco Arena in Sacramento CA.
Bishop was retired living with his baby daughter, Dorothy Latoya Walton, where his son Bruce T. Walton Would come around to check on him, In the city of Sacramento, CA. up until his life expired on November 3, 2020.
Bishop was married to Shirley A Walton June 6, 1969.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories:
Four children, Bishop B. Walton Jr., Bruce T. Walton, Schantaa N. Walton- Darden, and Dorothy L. Walton.
Five grand kids, Taeshawn N. Walton-Harris, Sophia H. Trujillo-Walton, Bre'ohne L.
Darden, Cher'ohne A. Darden, and Kymore L. Walton. Along with a host of
relatives and friends.
Bishop B. Walton Sr. was well known, he was a good father, wonderful provider, and husband. We are going to truly miss him.
God knows best, and we know he's at rest.
