Caliph Far'D
Swangin
Dec 20, 1992 — May 31, 2019
Sacramento
Our Son Caliph Far'd Swangin was born to the parents of Greg and LaDrena Swangin in Vallejo California on December 20th 1992 and left us broken hearted on May 31st 2019. Although our son was born in Vallejo he spent most of his childhood in Sacramento were he attended Woodbridge Elementary, Twin Rivers Elementary, Natomas Park elementary, Natomas middle school, Inderkum High school and he graduated from Discovery High. Our son once received a scholastic achievement award for the Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger. Caliph was a smart determined child. If you told him something he couldn't do he'd prove you wrong... Caliph loved basketball and received several trophies and he would make us the proudest parents in the world, every time we watched him out there on the court showing his skills dunking and making the crowd roar.Tracy Mcgrady was his favorite player, he molded his game to play like T-Mac. He was successful he even has a CHAMPIONSHIP to prove it! His other love was music, for him music was everything! Caliph and his brother would spend tireless hours in the studio making music.. He was very talented and would excel at anything he put his mind too.. Caliph aka StaXX also loved children, he would spend hours playing and wrestling with his nephew Elijah Ajone Hutcherson an his little cousin Aja Swangin. Our son was loved by many and will truly be missed. He touched many people, may it be with his music or just his loving/caring spirit... When our son smiled he lit up the room, he stood over 6 ft tall but yet was very humble and down to earth.. Our son always spoke about getting rich and taking care of his parents some day.. Caliph loved his family and his family loved him. Our son was very determined to do this his way even from birth. His mother was scheduled for a planned c-section on December 21st because he was 10 days overdue and he came on his own on December 20th.. Caliph entered the world on his terms and that is the telling of his character; a strong determined soldier who was loved by so many, and will be truly missed by all who knew him. Proceeded in death by his Grandmother Linda Diane Dillahunty, his Grandfather Stephen Lee, and his uncle Stephen Swangin. He is survived by his mother LaDrena Gunn-Swangin, his father Greg Swangin, his grandmother Eloise Swangin, his grandfather Larry Gunn, his brothers Rick Hutcherson Jr. And Zamir Swangin, his sister-n-law Kyara Hutcherson, his nephew Elijah Hutcherson, his niece Kaliyah Hutcherson his aunts Brandy Germany and Hadiyah Swangin, his uncle's Brandon Germany, Jerome Swangin, and Aumintrius Gunn, and two cousins that were his brothers I'Quan Gulley, Hassan Swangin and a host of family and friends..
