In The arms of an angel, Davian Shawn-Scott Updyke's death occurred on April 30, 2021, In a tragic vehicle collision only a month after his second birthday. In the midst of heartbreak and disbelief, we celebrate his life and boundless love, while remembering Davians's quirky smiles, the pitter of his feet, jumping lap hugs, and his contagious spirit.

Davian entered the world March 30, 2019 in Reno, Nv, weighing 6 lbs. 10 oz. Later, bringing joy to his family throughout pandemic sequester and now, bearing this great loss in sorrow and seeking to understand, Davian is survived by his loving parents Angelica and Robert Updyke, Older siblings: Robert Jr age 6, Alice age 5, Dylan age 3. Survived by grandparents Sara Koperski and David Mata, Christy Scott and D'wayne Updyke, Great grandparents Barbra Updyke, Bryce Pedges, Josette and Dave Mata, Brenda Ross, and several great aunts/uncle and cousins.
