Doretha Brewer was born November 17 ^th 1962 to the parents of Herman and Doris May Campbell in Hinesville, Georgia. Doretha was the eldest of 5. Doretha and her mother moved to San Bernardino, California when Doretha was a pre-teen. In high school Doretha ran track. She was one of the quickest runners. At 18 her mother introduced her to man who would soon to be her husband of 38 years. Doretha and Joe were married November 9th 1980.

Doretha always complained that she was broke in November due to anniversary, birthday and Thanksgiving. We laughed about it every year.In 1986 Doretha and Joe moved to Sacramento California where they had 9 more children to the three they already had. Doretha loved her children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren dearly. She would make meals every day and invite all her family even if you weren't family. If you were hungry or homeless she would help you. She loved her Rap and Hip-Hop. Don't think you would out dance her because she would battle you until she ran out of breath.

Doretha will always be loved and in our hearts. She is now home with her Mother, Father, Brother and many cousins. She's survived by 12 children, Kamarria, Lakiesha, Tanarra, Shanikqua, Tanisha, Jermaine, Laquisha, Malcolm, Joe the Second, Tonika, Shalenna,and Sharinna. 16 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandson, Husband Joe Brewer, 1 Sister Priscilla, 2 Brothers Lamar and Chester, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
