Missouri, she was the second child of Dave McClinton and Barbara R. Thompson Hart. She was
67 years of age at the time of her passing."
During her happy life, Doritha enjoyed celebrating the good times with family, making new
memories and moments of laughter. She loved spending time with family, cooking, and
eating"
good food. She also enjoyed playing games with her family"and"on her computer.
She is survived by her sisters—Dorothy McClinton Crenshaw, Darlene McClinton, Darlinda
McClinton, her brother Emil McClinton; her three daughters—Barbara R. Hurn Young, Damita
Hurn, Michelle J. Fitzgerald Jirabi; her son Michael J. Fitzgerald; her son-in-law Bruce L.
Young; daughter-in-law Tonya Ross Fitzgerald; her eleven grandchildren—Neechelle J. Hurn,
Shanikia N. Young, Demetrius D. Dixon, Akeisha D. Young, LaRita M. Hurn, Anthony
Fitzgerald, Celeste A. Hurn, Eric Fitzgerald, Salima N. Jirabi, Emma Fitzgerald, and Rhian
Fitzgerald; her three granddaughters-in-law Justice M. Dixon, Dulce Fitzgerald, and Delilah D.
Clark Hurn; her two great grandchildren—Annea N.R. Dixon and DeShawn J. Hurn; her nieces
Carmen Crenshaw and DaNay McClinton; her nephews John L. Crenshaw and Brian Crenshaw;
her nephew-in-law Lenard Hill; her neice-in-law Cheryl Franklin Crenshaw; and her great
nephews Nicholas Crafton and Carter McClinton.
Affectionately known as Queen, Rita and GG, Doritha was much loved, respected, and will be
missed greatly.
