Eddie Barksdale than met the love of his life Liliana Barksdale in Albuquerque New Mexico, They spent the next 59 years together, many of those years traveling the world.

Eddie played basketball while in high school his love for the sport followed him throughout his life. Coaching basketball and playing while in the air force, He was a avid jogger and enjoyed golfing and avid racket ball player. Dad spent six years in Saudi Arabia working for Lockheed in logistic. After leaving Lockheed Eddie went to work with the civil service at Travis air force base where he worked for 60 ^th logistic readiness squadron.
