Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 The Angel of Death has gain visited at the bedside of our beloved brother Edward Stewart. Brother Edward Stewart was born May 14, 1925 in Corner, Louisiana to the union of Mr. Len Stewart and Rose B. Stewart. On Saturday Morning August 17, 2013 Brother Stewart quietly slipped away at Sutter General Hospital. Brother Stewart accepted Christ at an early age. He was a Deacon at his church, House of Prayer. He was a member of Bay View Lodge # 64 in San Francisco, CA. Edward worked for Golden West Concrete Company for 3 years and then he worked for Carnation Milk Company, where he was a mechanic and retired after 20 years of service. People would come from all over San Francisco for him to fix cars. He would tell them to start their cars and would be able to tell them what was wrong with it. Edward was also a cook and went form fixing cars to cooking in the kitchen. Everyone loved his cornbread, greens and ox tails. After retirement Edward relocated to Sacramento where he lived until his death. He leaves to mourn his wife Irene Brigham, His sister Thelma Scott of Sacramento, CA and Brother James T. Stewart of Baton Rouge, LA and a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
