On September 23, 1964 Eugene E. Crump was born to the Union of Eugene Crump, M.D. and Pearl Thomas in District of Columbia.

His formal education was in Severna Park, Maryland, where he grew up. He attended, and graduated from Severna Park high school in 1982 with honors. He was a member on the varsity tennis team with his brother Adrian Keith Crump. He then matriculated to Howard University in Washington D.C. on a full scholarship, where he majored in Engineering.

He later left the University and enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He served our country in Afghanistan and other countries. Eugene also was in the US Army for four years. He had an honorable discharge from each one.

While attending Howard University Eugene met, and married, Harriett Burney in 1991. To this union a daughter was born on June 1994, Ms. Alisha Ann Marie who now attends medical school in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Eugene moved to Sacramento, CA in 2016.

Eugene loved to play tennis, enjoyed reading, going to the movies, going sledding, playing ping pong, and spending time with family.

Eugene departed his worldly body on Wednesday, January 11, 2017.

Eugene is preceded in death by his parents Eugene Crump, M.D. and Pearl Crump.

He leaves to mourn his passing: his daughter Alisha Ann Marie Crump ,two brothers , Adrian Keith Crump and Gregory ( Kimberly )Crump, nephews Gregory S. Crump and Gordon M. Crump, his former wife Harriett Burney, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Eugene will be truly missed.
