Eural Strickland
The Third
May 3, 1975 — Jun 17, 2024
SACRAMENTO
Eural "Junior" Strickland IIl, age 49, passed away on June 17 2024, in Rancho Cordova, CA. Born on May 3, 1975, in Los Angeles, CA, to Eural and Josephine Strickland both of whom have preceded him in death. Eural was a devoted husband, a father to two children and grandfather of three. During his early years, the family moved a lot between his birthplace of Los Angeles and Memphis Tennessee, the oirthplace of his beloved Mother, Josephine. His favorite times were living in Panorama City and Grenada Hills, where he enjoyed summers with his cousins, Cookie, Candy and Moon, took family trips to Venice Beach, and eating "garbage" pizza. He was a Cub Scout and played basketball at the local community center and took an interest in the Masons and Islam when the family moved to Hayward, California in 1991 and where he graduated from Hayward High alongside his sister in 1994. He completed his training to be a Certified Auto Technician from Wyotech in Hayward. Junior was known for his work ethic and being a hardworking man. He was dedicated to building his business, Emerald Dragon Security, and worked diligently at securing new contracts before his death. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions which were riding his Harley Davidson, smoking a good cigar and having a shot of Hennessy with his many friends. Junior was loving and stubbornly true to his Taurus zodiac sign, but was also loyal, giving, and kind, which made him the type of friend you kept for life. Junior also did things on his own time, so much so, that he earned a nickname of "Thirty Days" during his prospecting period with his Motorcycle Club, Street Royalty. They let his tardiness slide for a minute but then added 30 days to his prospecting period as a consequence and so the nickname "Thirty Days" stuck.
Junior met and fell in love with Crystal Oliver, and they dated for several years before marrying in a beautiful ceremony in Las Vegas, November 1, 2023 Eural is survived by his wife Crystal Oliver-Strickland of Rancho Cordova, CA, his children; Eural Strickland IV of Sacramento, CA and Neveah "Raven" Joie Jenkins of Tracy, CA, his grandchildren; Milyon Annette Alyce Strickland, Emahko Annette Martayah Strickland, Queen Sheila Annette Martayah Strickland, Sacramento, CA, two siblings; Darlene Annette Moore of Oakland, CA, Kimako Annette Strickland of Tracy, CA as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
