Felix was the fourth child born to the late Mahlon Maroney and Bertha Maroney in Modesto, CA. Felix grew up in San Francisco, attending schools in the S.F. Unified School District. In High School he met Denise Crawford, They were married August 17, 1974. they have two sons, Felix Maurice and Marlon Kelly. Felix was proceeded in death by his father Isaac Reid, affectionately called Pop. An electrician, Felix worked for San Francisco Fire Protection until he retired due to illness. Felix loved camping, fishing, listening to reggae jai music, being with family and friends. In 1998, Felix and Denise joined the Genesis Church family, pastored by the late Dr. Robert Porter. Felix was an active member of the Genesis men's ministry. Felix leaves to cherish the memory of his dear mother, Bertha Reid and mother-in-law, Essie Bell.
