ሓጺር ታሪኽ ሂወት ኣቶ ገብርሂወት ሃብተማርያም ተድላ ካብ ኣቦኡ ሃብተማርያም ተድላ ካብ ኣዲኦም ኣድሓነት ካሕሳይ ብዕለት 22 ሓምለ 1947 ኣብ ዓዲ ዓብደዛገ ንኡስ ወረዳ ጽልማ ተወሊዱ፥ ገብርሂወት ሃብተማርያም ኣብ ግዜ ንእስነቱ ክሳብ ወዲ 21 ዓመት ኣቢሉ ኣብ ስድርኡ ከይተሞርከሰ ሓንሳብ ኣብ ሃገረሰብ ሓንሳብ ኣብ ከተማ እናተማላለሰ ሂወቱ ባዕሉ እመርሕ ነበረ፥ ኣተዓባብያ ጠባያቱ ብነብሱ ዝተኣማመን ብዘይ ገለ ዕንቅፋት ካብ ሰብ ከይተጸበየ ሓርኮትኮ በሃላይ እዩ ኔሩ፡ ኣብ 1968 ዓ'ም በቲ ዝነበሮ ናብራ ሓንሳብ ኣብ ከተማ ሓንሳብ ኣብ ሃገረሰብ ከይተሓጽረ ሂወቱ ንምምሕያሽ ኣርሒቁ ብምጥማት ካብ ሃገሩ ኤርትራ ንኣዲስ ኣበባ ኢትዮጵያ ኣምረሔ። ኣብ ኣዲስ ኣበባ ንቁሩብ ዓመታት ድሕሪ ምጽናሕ ኣብቲ እዋን'ቲ ኣብ 1974 ዓ'ም ኣብ መንጎ ኤርትራን ኢትዮጵያን ናይ ውግእ ቃልሲ ኣብዝነበረሉ እዋን፡ገብረሂወት ሃብተማርያም ኣብ ሃገሩን ኣብ ሕዝቡን ዝነበሮ ናይ ሓልዮት ስሚዒት ተደሪኹ ኣብ ክንዲ ሃገሩን ናጽነቱን ንምቅላስ ኣብ ሜዳ ኣብ ትሕቲ ተጋድሎ ሓርነት ኤርትራ ኣትዩ ይቃለስ ነበረ። ብድሕሪ እ'ዚ ኣብ 1977 ካብ ሜዳ ንሱዳን ተመሊሱ ፥ ሱዳን -ከንያ ከንያ- ሱዳን እናበለ እሰርሕ ነበረ። ኣብ 1981 ኣብ ሱዳን ምስ ወይዘሮ ኣልጋነሽ ወልደማርያም ብሓዳር ተጸምደ፡ ኣብቲ ግዜቲ ድማ ንኣመሪካ ንምምጻእ ዕድል ስለ ዝረኸቡ ተታሓሒዞም ምስ በዓልቲ ቤቱ ኣብዚ ኣብ ሕቡራት ኣመሪካ እተዉ። ኣብዚ ኣብ ኣመሪካ ኣብ ዝተፋላለየ ከተማ ከም ሰይንት ሉስ፣ ሳንሆዘ፣ ሳንታ ሮዛ ኣብ መወዳእታ ከኣ ኣብ ሳክራመንቶ ብማሙቅ ናብራ እነብሩ ነበሩ። ብሓጺሩ ገብርሂወት ሃብተማርያም ተድላ ኣቦ ሰለስተ ቆልዑ፡ ሳባ፥ ሰናይት፥ ሳምሶን ከምኡውን በዓልቲ ቤቱ ኣልጋነሽ ወልደማርያም ግዲፍ ብዕለት 16 ሚያዝያ 2018 ካብዛ ዓለም ብሞት ተፈልዩ

Obituary

The late Father & Brother Gebrehiwet (Gebar)  Habtemariam Tedla passed away on April 16, 2018 after fighting a prolonged sickness. Gebar was born in 1947 at Adebzage, Tzilima Subzone, from his Father Habtemariam Tedla and his mother Adhanet Kahsai.

His childhood was spent between Asmara & Adebzage. He Resided in Asmara till the age of 21. Looking for himself a  life of adventure, he embarked on a new life in Addis Ababa and beyond.

At the Height of the Ethiopian DERG Revolution, Gebar returned back to Eritrea and joined the Armed Struggle for  Independence. In 1977 he went to Sudan and led a life between Sudan & Kenya. While in Sudan he met his soul mate Alganesh Woldemariam. God blessed them with three children Saba, Sanyt, & Samson.

Many moves came along; St.Louis, Columbia, Santa Rosa, Tempe and finally settling in Sacramento, CA where he lived happily amongst family & people from the community. Gebar known for his straight-forwardness and his honest character was loved by  everyone he came across. He will be greatly and deeply missed by family, friends, and the greater Sacramento communities.
