James Emmett Heard Jr. was born January 28, 1958 in Vallejo CA and later moved to Houston TX. He stayed in Houston TX with his grandmother and two sister Yasmin and Debbie heard. The three of them eventually moved to the greater Sacramento area where they attend Sacramento High School. While attending Sacramento High school, James was very active in Track and field and was one of the first members of his sophomore class to make it to the state championship for his sprinting ability. This accomplishment help propel James into and elite class of student athletes in the Sacramento region and kept James focused on academics. He graduated from Sacramento High School and lived his life as fruitful and joyful as possible. He leaves behind three beautiful children Jaime Heard, James Heard Jr and Nicholas heard who he loved dearly. He was also blessed with two beautiful Grand Children Jace A. Johns and Zaniyah A Heard both children will create a legacy in his name that will make their Grandfathers spirit proud. To thy duty that is best, leave onto the Lord the Rest.
