The life of James Littlejohn

James (Jimmie) Littlejohn was born and raised in Shelby, North Carolina on December 24, 1942 to Raymond and Beulah Littlejohn. James died peacefully at the age of 73 on July 13, 2016 after a long term battle with multiple medical issues.

James graduated in 1960 from Shelby High School and was an avid 49ers fan. James served in the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1968.  Once leaving the military he worked for Southern Pacific Railroad and went on to work for Pac Bell Telephone Company.  He was lovingly known as "L.J." or Uncle Jimmie.  James was a faithful church member until he took sick. He attended Calvary Christian Center for years, Genesis Church and Prayer & Compassion Ministries.

James was preceded in death by his father Raymond Littlejohn and his brother Kenny Littlejohn . James was survived by his wife Sharon Littlejohn .  Mother- Beulah Littlejohn , Brother- Raymond Littlejohn , Sisters: Christine Keaton , Betty Tyson , Priscilla Littlejohn , Joyce Corry .  Sister in law: Maxine Littlejohn , Brother in law: Mack Corry , Daughter - Sharronda Floyd , Son - James Littlejohn Jr , Stepson - Dean Myles , Grandson - Michael Floyd Sr ., Great Grand Sons - Jah'Leel Floyd , Jah'Reise Floyd , and Michael Floyd Jr .  He has a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
