Obituary

Born in San Francisco, California on September 12, 1985, John Cuauhtemoc Cross lived 35 years with a zest for life and love. How to describe such a life? He lived in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Cairo, Egypt, Point Arena, New York and Beacon before settling down in Sacramento at the age of 16. He climbed to the top of the pyramids of Mexico and Egypt by the age of 10. He explored tombs and caves, Mount Sinai and the Valley of Kings. Everywhere he went he made close friends, many of whom became his friends for life. He had two beautiful children, Xochitl and Alexander.

As a child of two great cultures, Mexico and the United States, John grew up in Mexico and the US, and also lived in Egypt. He was bilingual and enjoyed sharing his friendship with people from all cultures. He especially liked to rap and had written and taped some raps about his children.

Recently, John started a music production company that just started making its first videos. He was also planning trips to Puerto Rico with his Mother Rebecca, and to Mexico and Iraq with his father. He was also still grieving the death of his younger brother, Alexander Benjamin Cross.

John is grieved by his parents, John and Becky Cross, his children Xochitl and Alex, his niece Alena Araceli, his uncle Lloyd and his aunt Lis.
