LaShun Kevin Curtis was born January 22, 1974 to the proud parents of Albert Curtis and Jacquelin Jackson at Mount Zion Hospital and Medical Center in San Francisco, CA.

Kevin accepted Christ at the age 5 years old in San Francisco, CA. Kevin spent his younger years growing up in Oakland, CA. He attended Markham Elementary, Frick Jr. High and Fremont High. He enjoyed and played all sports; most of all he loved the game of basketball. Kevin's favorite basketball team was Golden State Warriors & he was a die-hard 49er's fan.

In 1992, Kevin became a father. Over the years he fathered three (3) additional children which was the proudest moment of his life.  Kevin worked for AAA as a Tow Truck Driver and the State of California CDPH.

In 2006, he met the love of his life Tiffany Patterson. Which he later married on September 13, 2008 and they resided Sacramento, CA. In 2009 was another proud moment of Kevin's life when he became a Grandfather. Kevin loved and cherished his family and protected his family with all that he had.

Kevin was fun loving adventurous person who was very competitive there was nothing he didn't believe he couldn't do. He loved bar-b-queuing and being outdoors. One of his favorite places to be was on the water, fishing, jet skiing and boating.

Kevin leaves to cherish his wife Tiffany Curtis; loving mother Jacquelin Jackson, his children Shjondel, Qortney, Donyé , Kailen, Mone't and Grandson Nikhi. Three sisters, LaKisha Thompson (Terrance), Nicole Curtis Batty (David), and Camille Stokes and one God sister Turkesa Truehill; Two God brothers Terrell Dyson and Eric Warren.  His favorite Aunt (Nina Lassien), and aunties Sharon McFadden, Patricia Wilson (John); Uncles Johhny Jackson, Issac Atkins, Carl Perkins and Denver Lassien; his in-laws Rose and Sam Patterson Jr., Rebecca Cisero, Marion Love and Marcus Patterson ,as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Kevin was preceded in death to join his grandparents William Jackson (Sunny Boy) and Betty Lou Jackson, his father Albert Curtis, stepmother Delores J. Curtis, his Godmother Alice Faye Warren, Cousin Cherisse Wilson and Godson Alvin Valentine (Saivon)
