Linda Marie Turner was born to Betty Johnson and James Turner on August 28th, 1956 in Monroe, Louisiana, she is the fourth child of eight siblings born to this union. Linda relocated from Monroe, Louisiana to Oakland, CA with her mother and siblings as a little girl. Linda settled in California where she attended elementary school, Junior high school and moved on to graduate from Castlemont High School. After graduating high school she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for more than 25 years.

Linda was a very caring  person who loved to help others, she loved to shop and looked good in anything she wore. Linda loved to go camping and travel with her friends being outdoors was her favorite place to be. Linda enjoyed family gatherings she made the best pineapple upside-down cake and fried the best chicken ever she could cook anything.

Linda later met and married Michael A. Rash whom she wed for 16 years. Linda accepted Christ as her personal Lord and savior in 1999 and joined The Master Seal Worship Center under the leadership of Apostle Peggy Hall and Reverend Tyrone Hall, she also served on the Usher Board and taught Sunday school for many years which brought her great joy.

Linda departed this life on March 28th, 2020 and she leaves to mourn: her husband Michael A. Rash. 4 children; LaTanya Dillon, Lenardo Smith, Tiquanna Jefferson, and Christopher Turner. 4 grandchildren; Lee Anthony Smith, Chaleea Smith, Zamya Dawkins and Josiah Dillon. 6 siblings; James Turner, Robert Johnson, Marilyn Johnson, Carolyn Johnson-Lewis, Geneva Johnson, Clifton Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews,         relatives, and friends.
