Marvin J Watts was born February 3,1948 in Summerfield,Louisiana. To the union of his parents Marvin Watts and Parthena Walston(Bryson).Marvin was the 3rd child of five, also the only male child out of his siblings. While growing up in San Francisco, California, Marvin attended Balboa High School. Graduating class of 1966. After high school Marvin completed trade school to gain experience and knowledge as an Electrician. Once completing trade school in 1970, he immediately served proudly with a multitude of employers in San Francisco and surrounding cities. While he served as an Electrician some of his opportunities took place at Bethlehem Steel (SF, CA), Westinghouse (SF, CA) and he retired as a Trades Supervisor with Sacramento County. While obtaining these accomplishments his loving and devoted wife Yvonne Watts who shared a union of marriage with Marvin for 53 years, stood by his side every step. They had two children together Marvin J Watts III and Tanya L Watts. While Marvin loved his family he found passions for a multitude of things such as fishing on the Delta, firing up the grill for his exquisite BBQ, or hanging out with his lodge brothers at the Capitol City Elks Lodge. He also found pleasure in the quiet moments of life like gardening in his backyard. Although Marvin was a man of few words his cadence spoke very boldly. He allowed various people from different walks of life and marginal backgrounds to experience his wisdom, kind heart, interpersonal values and giving people a sense of family and genuine love. Marvin is preceded by his parents, mother and father in law, two sisters Ada Gray , Margie Dumas, and his step brother Arthuqr Williams. He leaves to cherish his memory by his wife Yvonne Watts and two children Marvin J Watts III and Tanya L Watts. Four grandchildren Antione J Watts, Imani S Watts, Xiisa Bullock-Watts, and Xsenia Bullock-Watts. His uncle Raymond Walston and two sisters. The eldest Joann Barnett and youngest Deborah Bryson. His memory will also be honored by his two nieces Monica Barnett , Nichole Watson and his two nephews Fredrick Gray and Derric Shavers. While keeping his memory alive Marvin will be honored by a host of great nieces/nephews ,cousins, and loving friends.
