Mr. Michael David Marigny was born to Lonnie M. Marigny of New Orleans, LA and Palmer Woods of Oakland, CA on July 25, 1980 in the city of Berkeley, CA.   He united with Christ at an early age and was baptized at Morning Star Baptist Church, Oakland, CA under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Ray Williams.

He obtained his education in the public schools of Oakland and Hercules, CA.  Michael's profession was in the fields of Solar Paneling and Interior Painting.

Michael loved to fish, swim and ice skate.  He was a member of the Berkeley Minor Hockey League and received many trophies from his outstanding performance as a "Goalie".

Michael married Rebecca Neal and loved her three children, Raymond, Rashare and Jacob as a father.

Michael cherished his two brothers, Van and Melvin and loved his mother very much.

Michael leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother, Palmer Woods-Ponder; his former wife, Rebecca Neal; two brothers, Van Williams of South Carolina, and Melvin Ponder; a sister-in-law, Vivien Williams; three step children, Raymond, Rashare and Jacob; God Uncle and Aunt, Pastor Lawerence and First Lady Geraldine Chisom of Fresno, CA; two uncles, Rozier Gibson and Willie Lee Jackson III; one nephew, and two nieces; a special cousin, LaTanya Hives and many other cousins and friends.
