Reflection of Life
Pamela Annette Slaughter was born May 18, 1958 in Sacramento, California to Ellen Marie and Delmer Slaughter. She grew up surrounded with love from her siblings Debra Slaughter-Bacy, Mischell Slaughter Hawkins, Kathleen Slaughter, India Slaughter, Walter Caesar Jr., David Caesar, Lois Caesar, and Tracy Pattio.
At an early age she was blessed with her first of three daughters, Cecilia Gaston. Soon after came Tonia and Mischell Hamilton. Lastly came her baby boy, Stephon Whiteside.
Throughout her years she was known to be vivacious and full of life. She enjoyed congregating with friends, dancing, and living life to its fullest. Everyone she encountered enjoyed her quick wit and her honest conversations. She spent years in the service industry, working at Carl's Jr. and was able to give back to her community through her position held at Sacramento Recycling Center. During her later years she enjoyed early morning phone calls with her children and various loved ones, visits with her grandchildren, good home-cooked meals, and the occasional trip to try her luck at the casino.
Preceding her in death, her husband, Michael Hamilton; Daughter, Tonia Hamilton; Granddaughter, Danica Marie Garner; Sisters, Debra Slaughter-Bacy and Kathleen Slaughter; Brother, Tracy Pattio; and her beloved mother, Ellen Marie Pattio.
She is survived by dear friend and co-parent, Derek Whiteside; Children, Cecilia Gaston, Mischell Hamilton-Mann along with her husband Richard Mann, and Stephon Whiteside along with his wife Crystal; Siblings, Mischell Slaughter Hawkins, India Slaughter, Walter Caesar Jr. along with his wife Kathaleen, and David and Lois Caesar; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
