Ralph Ford Pyles Jr. was born on April 8, 1960, in Oakland, California to Parents Ralph Sr. and L.V. Pyles.

Ralph attended Oakland High School in Oakland California and after graduating he attended the school of Electronics. Not knowing is passion would be cooking. Later attended school for Culinary Arts and retired as head Chef in Vacaville California at Black Oak Restaurant.

Ralph enjoyed football; his favorite team was the Oakland Raiders. He also, enjoyed listening to music, fishing, cooking and firing up his Barbqeu pit to do some grilling. He loved having a good time and making others laugh and smile. He had a unique laugh that will be greatly missed.

With determination and confidence Ralph took care of his wife and family honorably and respectfully.

Ralph is preceded in death by his mother and father, sister Ann and brother Prentiss.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Carla Jenkins, five brothers Roy Mitchell, Ondra Pyles, Irving Pyles, Kenneth Pyles and Byron Pyles, two sisters Brenda Toliver and Kathy Jones.

His children Yolanda Pyles and Ralph Pyles III. Five grandchildren and great grand-daughter, along with a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends that will miss him.
