Sharon
Dobbins
Aug 5, 1948 — Apr 9, 2019
Sacramento
Sharon Ann Fisher was born in Newark, NJ on August 5, 1948 to Helen Pugh and Anthony Fisher. She was baptized and took Holy Communion as a Catholic in April 1955.
In 1964, She met Raymond Davis, Sr. and had 4 children with him. She later married Jessie Dobbins in 1982 and had her youngest son. Many years later, she met her life-long partner and the love of her life, Joann Thomas in the late 80s. They became family and shared 22 beautiful years together. They raised their families together. Even after separation, they remained close and talked to one another every day on the phone.
Sharon was a loving mother and grandmother. She had a beautiful soul. The conversations that she had with her children and grandchildren were special, funny, and will always be remembered. Some of the childhood experiences that her children always remembered were going on long drives, the drive-ins, and to rummage sales. Her grandchildren loved sitting and talking to her for hours. She devoted her entire life to taking care of her family. Even in the midst of her struggles of life and health problems, she always kept her doors open with love. She was the heartbeat of the family, the rope that tied us together, the feeling that kept us going, and the reason so many of us wanted more in life. She will forever be loved, forever be missed and she will never be forgotten. She is love.
