Shelton Nathaniel Presley Jr. was born November 18, 1946 in San Francisco, California to the union of Annie L. Presley and Shelton Nathaniel Presley Sr.  Shelton attended school in San Francisco, CA and Sebastopol, CA.

He enjoyed life to the fullest, as he was also known as being the life of the party. He took a great thrill in looking sharp as a tack.  Many people knew him and loved him. Family and friends called him Red.  He was drafted into the Army from 1963-1968 and was deployed to Vietnam War. Upon his return to United States Shelton relocated to Sacramento, California. He married Eleanor Barrow which produced three wonderful children.  After graduating with an Associate's Degree in Psychology from Sacramento City College he worked in a variety of positons in the Sacramento area. He also enjoyed cooking, fishing, decorating, traveling, music, dancing, singing and most of all he loved his family and friends. He always had a smile to give and a warm welcoming hug. He was always adopting people into his circle of love. He was a great listener and understood your quirky habits, beliefs, and accepted you at face value and would take you to task. Like his son, he was good for being the family comedian and was up to all kinds of shenanigans.

On August 26, 2019 the Lord called Shelton from labor to reward. He is preceded in death by his parents Annie L. Presley (nee McClure) and Shelton Nathaniel Presley Sr., daughter Anika Presley, son Nathaniel A. Presley Sr., aunts Ollie Mae Moore, Sybilla "Bill' Mazon, Uncle Elmoe 'Buddy' McClure, sister's Dorothy Presley, Kathryn Johnson, Patricia Presley, nephews Charles Johnson, Victor Johnson, Lawrence Greene, Ronnie Condoll, brothers Charles Callum, Vernon Tucker, Big Will Owens and nieces Deborah Jenkins and June Bivens.

He leaves to cherish his memory 2 adult, his daughter Tameka S. Presley, son Floyd Zelaya, daughters by extension La'Troya McCoy and Jatwan Walston, grandchildren - Regina Russell, Ashley Presley, Nathaniel Presley Jr, Jasmine Zelaya, Kassitty Presley-Johnson, Julien Clark, Floyd Zelaya Jr. Breanna Presley, Xenia Zelaya, his sister Glenda Berry, niece Lynne McKinney, Angela Morgan, Maria Leeper, Regina Barber, nephews Johnny Johnson, Paul Johnson, Milton Berry, Charles (Libby) Callum, cousins Jesse McClure, Jeweline Gardner, Estelle Gardner, Florene Pack and 9 great grandchildren – Jeremiah, Nehemiah, Alonna, Mariah, Destiny, Kaiden, Amaya, Ava, Evan, and host of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
