Sherman (June) Walker was born to the proud parents of Sherman Walker and Rosie Gaines on September 8, 1956 in Talulah, Louisiana.  In 1960  they relocated and resided in Oakland, CA. . June lived in a few cities around Ca then later to Sacramento  until his death on May 15, 2020.

June met Valerie Martinez his first love and childhood friend in Oakland CA. on 82 ^nd ave and in 1972 his first child was born a beautiful little girl. June  joined the Army in 1974, upon discharge he met and married his love Pam Talton in 1983.  They had four beautiful children.  He later met and married his soulmate and best friend Mqsauna Davis who also came with a bonus son , Alex.  They married in 2003 and had two beautiful girls.

June was preceded in death by his wife Mqsauna Walker, his  grandparents Edna & Ivy Bloomer, Andrew Walker, Elizabeth and Willie Gaines, and his great grandson Allen J. McCall, Jr. (Our Forever Baby)

June is survived by his parents; Rosie Walker Haynes, and Sherman Walker, Sr. his brothers; Cornelius (Corn) Walker, Claude (Jr) Haynes (Samantha), and Clyde (Terrell) Haynes (DeAnna) as well as his sister Beverly and brother Lamont.

He leaves to mourn his passing his seven children; Anissa Walker-Muhammad (John), Andrew (Dru) Walker (Iyesia), Raynisha Walker (Chalessa), Shermanda  Walker, Sherman  Walker,  Mariah (KK) Walker, and Alexis (Rudy) Walker.

His grandchildren; Samantha Brown McCall (Allen), Angel White (Delvionce),  Amir-Amonti Walker.

Great grandchildren; Allen A. McCall, Anyssa McCall, Armani McCall, Delvionce Wright, and Allon Wright and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives  and  friends.
