Obituary

Vickie Morris passed away in her sleep at her good friend Pam Green home on Monday , April 3,2017, due to heart complications.

Vickie was born on May, 30 1958, in San Francisco, California to the proud parents of Lois Pepper and LW Humphrey. She had three sisters; Loretta Humphrey (Daniels), Kassandra and Cathy. She had one brother named Larry Pepper.  She attended Freemont Elementary, Pelton middle school and received her GED. She met her first love James Eugene Jackson and after years of dating she gave birth to her first child Victoria Jackson on August 11,1980. Years later she met Raymond Townsel and gave birth to her second daughter Bridget Townsel on February 16, 1982. Later she gave birth to identical twins boys Jemaine Townsel and Jaemarr Townsel on July 1, 1983. She then met her husband Alonzo Morris and they were married in 1985. In 1998 she began working at Honey Baked Ham in San Francisco, CA and later she became the manager.

She was a strong woman who lived a difficult life but never gave up on anything that she wanted. She was always there for her children when able.  She had her own special relationship with each of them. She was an active member of Rising Star ministries where she enjoyed church, helping out wherever and whenever needed.  She enjoyed having a good time with her family as often as possible. She loved dressing nice and making sure she looked good no matter what the occasion. If she liked you, you would know it, and she would go out her way to make sure you had what you needed. She had a special place in her heart for all her grandchildren and made sure she was in their lives as much as possible.

She is preceded in death by her son Jaemarr Townsel, her niece Lois Daniels and her sisters; Cathy, Lorretta Daniels and Kassandra . She is survived by her brother, Larry; her daughters; Victoria Jackson, Bridget Townsel, her son Jemaine Townsel; her grandsons; Raymond, Keyonte,Jamani,Mikai, Jea'marri, and TJ; granddaughters; Geneva, Myliyah,Simiya,Savannah, Makayla, Zy'Quira, Semaj and Jae'la, a host of friends, and other family members.
